The owner of this kitchen was a collector of Mexican art and required that her new kitchen have lots of wall space, glass cabinets, and over cabinet space for displaying this art. While a reduced number of wall cabinets posed a challenge, we compensated with a large island, full access corner cabinets and drawer organizers for dishes and pots and pans. We created a bake center with two under-counter ovens and a built-in countertop microwave and balanced it on the opposite wall with a large, 6-burner stainless steel range and hood. A built-in desk has open shelves and glass cabinets above to continue the open feel of the kitchen wall space and an iron chandelier candle holder ties the room together with an elegant yet rustic look.
